The marketplace of science

Atrialab is a marketplace of scientific evidence which aims to promote the collaboration of companies and researchers with Spanish public research laboratories.

We develop the corporate identity, the development of the responsive Drupal based website and SEO.

 

The science of branding

For the design of the corporate identity we rely on two concepts, first the atomic structure of protons, neutrons and electrons; and second, the graphic conceptualization of an interconnected network of laboratories offering their services in Atrialab using a wide color range, that transmits the variety of scientific evidence offered.

 

Drupal 7 + Ubercart a winning combination

For the architecture we propose a solution based on Drupal 7 where the web services offered by laboratories are linked to organizations that ate the same time are linked to organizations through a structure of entities. The services are categorized using a hierarchical taxonomy fully manageable by the customer. To implement online sales we build on Ubercart connecting with the corresponding bank payment gateway while the budget request is made using a simple form based on the webforms module. The site also has a search engine views based service that allows you to locate services quickly and efficiently. To optimize the loading speed, we installed and configured a Boost, a very efficient cache system which reduces dramatically the loading page time for anonymous users. Transactional emails are sent via Mandrill, so that the speed and delivery of each of the emails sent from the web are guaranteed.

 

Mobile first responsive design

The responsive design was created by the paradigm "mobile first" first modeling appearance and web architecture in mobile devices and adapting after to other larger screen sizes. The menu navigation, house brand, is a "offcanvas menu" always visible in both mobile and desktop that gives the feeling of freshness and cutting edge interactive design.

 

Built in On-page SEO

We fulfill all the requirements to improve SEO on-page as well as the inclusion of a sitemap.xml linked to Google webmaster tools, friendly URLs, page titles and customizing goals, structured html headers, etc… We performed the analysis of keywords, we propose a strategy of blog posts and we are writing to customer internet so he can work autonomously on the link baiting.
